Privacy policy.

What we take, why we take it, and who else ever sees it. The answer to the last one is short.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, your mobile number, a delivery address if it is a delivery, and any notes you write about spice level or allergies. An email address only if you choose to give one for a receipt.

When you ask about catering: your name, your number, the date, the headcount and what you are thinking of serving.

That is it. We do not ask for anything we do not need to cook your food and get it to you.

What we do with it

Cook your order, get it to the right address, and tell you what is happening with it. If you ticked the optional box, ask you once afterwards for a review.

We keep a record of past orders so the kitchen can look one up when somebody calls about it.

Your mobile number

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Your number is used to reach you about your own order, your own catering enquiry, and the occasional promotion you agreed to. It does not go onto a list anybody else can buy, and it is never traded.

The only company that touches it is the messaging provider that puts the text on the network for us, and they are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

Who else sees anything

Card payments are handled by Stripe on their own secure checkout. We never see or store your card number.

If you order delivery, the person driving sees your address, because that is how delivery works.

We do not sell customer information to anybody, for any purpose, ever.

How we see the site being used

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people move around this site: what gets clicked, how far down a page people read, and where they give up. It helps us find the parts that are confusing and fix them.

It does not record what you type. Names, phone numbers, addresses and anything you write in a notes box are hidden from it.

It does not run on the pages where staff see customer details, and it does not run on the checkout.

How we know which page brought you here

When you first arrive we save a small note in your browser of how you got here: a search engine, a link from Instagram, our Google listing, or straight to the address. It also records which page you landed on and the date.

If you later send us a catering enquiry, that note comes with it, so we can see which pages are actually helping people find us and put our effort there.

There is nothing in it that identifies you. No name, no number, no advertising profile. It stays on this site, it is not shared with anybody, and it clears itself after ninety days. Clearing your browser's cookies removes it, and if your browser blocks cookies the form still works exactly the same.

How long we keep it

Order records stay while they are useful for running the restaurant and for our own accounts. If you want yours removed, ask and we will remove it, unless we are required to keep the record of a sale.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text and the messages end. The full detail is in our SMS terms.

Ask us what we hold on you and we will tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Children

This is a restaurant website. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anybody under 13.
